Welcome!

SDUIS is a small, private University with a humanistic and integrative philosophy. Our programs are applied in nature and we strive to equip our students with knowledge and tools they can use successfully in real life after graduation. Our awareness of the relationship between mind, body, and spirit forms the basis for a socially, culturally, and environmentally relevant educational process and experience which we call “Integrative Studies.” Our faculty is committed to providing a socially relevant and highly practical experience for students so that they may begin their careers well prepared with the most current theoretical and practical knowledge available.
We believe that our students have the capacity to make a difference in our collective future as agents of change in their professions and communities. Join our students by embarking on one of life’s great transitions, your dream career as a helping or business professional. We invite you to learn more about our programs by contacting our office at 619-297-1999 and enrolling in one of our upcoming classes.

The spirit of giving at the San Diego University for Integrative Studies shines brightest during the holiday season. We conduct an annual Toy Drive for the Salvation Army, SDUIS students and local Old Town businesses have the opportunity to bring their generous donations to SDUIS to make sure that no child is left without a gift on Christmas morning. The purpose of the Salvation Army Toy Drive is to collect new, unwrapped toys during September, October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the San Diego community. Donations can be dropped off at 3900 Harney Street, San Diego, CA 92110.

The San Diego University for Integrative Studies psychology and marriage and family therapy students volunteer their time at Counseling Centers, Psychiatric Hospitals and mental health facilities throughout San Diego County as part of their practical training. They volunteer at facilities offering treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery services which include screening and assessment, medication management, crisis intervention, group and individual short term therapy, for people who are experiencing persistent and severe mental illness or a mental health crisis.
