Course Objective: By the end of this course, students should feel comfortable writing essays with basic control of organization, be able to extract key information from academic material, and speak fluently with only occasional misuse of idioms. Additionally, students will have complemented their understanding of colloquial language and will be able to correctly and effectively use grammar, punctuation, and spelling in all forms of writing. Students at this level are well on their way to fluency and should have the ability to thrive in social, professional, and academic settings.
