Academic Program – Aviation & Aerospace Commerce
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN AVIATION AND AEROSPACE COMMERCE
As the scope and reach of globalization continues to expand in a technologically connected world, corresponding advancements in commercial aviation will need to keep pace. Businesses, government, and the aviation industry seek guidance during this period of rapid change, to find a balance between the competing interests of security, logistics, and commercial viability. A resultant need will be to continually assess the role of human decision-makers within aviation and aerospace infrastructure.
The Master of Science in Aviation and Airport Management at SDUIS will prepare participants by educating them in areas including, but not limited to, emerging issues regarding the rules and regulations of commercial aviation, security, business administration, human factors, information technology, and environmental concerns. This program is designed to prepare persons wishing to begin or enhance a career in commercial aviation with the requisite knowledge and flexibility demanded of such professionals today. PREREQUISITES:
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited or approved institution, and all applications are reviewed and approved by the Program Director.
REQUIREMENTS:
Each student must complete 80 quarter units of Aviation and Aerospace Commerce coursework. Students will complete the Required Core Aviation and Aerospace Commerce requirements (70 units), and select ten (10) additional units from the Elective Aviation and Aerospace Commerce coursework.
